Integrating Multiple Steganographic Techniques for Medical Image Data Security Enhancement in Healthcare Systems: Security-Enhanced Steganography
Main Article Content
Abstract
Steganography provides a mechanism for embedding and retrieving a message within an innocuous carrier. Image steganography is a prevalent and robust application of this technique. While standard steganography conceals a secret message within a single cover image ( Cov_img ), its security is limited. Mass steganography addresses this limitation by enabling concurrent data storage across multiple images. This paper proposes a novel data partitioning method for embedding data across a set of cover images. It further details the procedures for extracting the hidden information from the Cov_img at the receiving end. Dividing the data in this way enhances security by making it exceedingly difficult for an unauthorized individual to recover the information without knowledge of the specific partitioning scheme.
