National Bloc Party in Syria: A Study of Its Origins and Organizational Structure
Main Article Content
Abstract
The National Bloc Party made a significant contribution to the political movement that took place during the period of the French mandate in Syria, as it was able to represent the national mass movement and became the sole representative of the opposition. It was also able to take over the reins of power, as this party was able to organize itself in a way that enabled it to deal flexibly with French rigidity, after it had drawn up for itself a relatively advanced internal system when compared to the parties that were with it during the same period, in addition to the political, cultural and economic background of its senior cadres, who were united despite the relative differences between their members to achieve the party’s goals.
