Infrastructure Architecture for Hybrid Legacy-Cloud Ecosystems: Balancing Tradition and Innovation
Main Article Content
Abstract
The problem that infrastructure architecture of hybrid legacy-cloud ecosystems overcomes is one of the most serious challenges that organizations within regulated industries face: how to both adopt cloud innovation and maintain the stability of the existing systems. This paper discusses architectural designs that facilitate smooth integration between the traditional and the modern platform with particular attention to the area of healthcare and financial services. The article provides a wide perspective of hybrid ecosystem design and implementation by focusing on interoperability frameworks, security, modernization routes, and new technologies. The tactical value of gradual change is realised when organizations aim at sustaining business continuity coupled with a gradual shift to cloud-based solutions that will promote flexibility and service provision. Hybrid models build bridges across technology generations through judicious architectural planning and governance, safeguarding precious and long-term investments and allowing innovation with the ability to adapt to the changing needs of customers.
